With the right information and tools, they and their families can better understand the diagnosis and develop practical strategies to manage everyday challenges. \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>In an ongoing pilot project with CAMHS in Region Skåne and Innovation Skåne, \u003Ca href=\"https://www.stretch.care/en/amni-care\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amni Care\u003C/a> is being used to simplify digital self-care for children and young people with ADHD. The aim is to reduce administrative workload and give healthcare professionals more time to focus on patients.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Previously, CAMHS in Region Skåne sent self-management materials as PDF-files through Sweden’s 1177 healthcare platform. This involved several administrative steps and offered limited opportunities to track how patients engaged with the content. The pilot is now testing a more streamlined approach using Amni Care, known as “Formulär och stöd” within Region Skåne. \u003C/p>\n\u003Ch3>From 38 steps to 7 \u003C/h3>\n\u003Cp>Three CAMHS clinics in Malmö and Lund are taking part in the pilot. With the new approach using Amni Care, the number of administrative steps involved in the process has fallen from 38 to 7. This represents an approximately 80% reduction in administrative work for the task in question. \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>At one clinic, the time required to complete the task has fallen from around four minutes to just 40 seconds. \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>CAMHS Skåne delivers approximately 10,000 digital self-management interventions each year. According to the region’s own calculations, the time spent administering and sending out these materials could be reduced from around seventeen (17) working weeks to just two and a half (2 ½).  \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>If these time savings are maintained when the approach becomes part of routine practice, the potential to free up staff capacity is substantial. \u003C/p>\n\u003Ch3>Making self-management more engaging \u003C/h3>\n\u003Cp>Amni Care brings together information, exercises and reflection in digital programmes designed for children and young people with ADHD and their families. The content is presented in short sections using text, illustrations and videos. By answering questions and making their own choices, patients and family members create personalised worksheets that they can return to whenever they need them. \u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Weekly reminders and encouragement help patients and families stay engaged throughout the programme. At the same time, healthcare professionals can monitor progress and receive notifications when a patient becomes inactive.
