Journals and diaries in Amnicare
Amnicare now launches the ability to administer forms in a diary format – i.e., an open form that patients or parents fill in over time. This can, for example, involve a parent daily noting the times and intensity of a predetermined challenging behavior over two weeks, or a patient with depression recording their mood and the number of positive activities per day.
Until today, the therapist has gathered information from patients and their relatives via assessment forms through Amnicare, often with standardized calculations and results that are presented and analyzed using cutoffs. The diary becomes an important complement to this type of traditional assessment form as, in addition to informing the therapist or practitioner, it has an important educational function since patients or parents can also follow the development.
The first diary to be launched is a Sleep Diary, where the patient fills in information about their night's sleep over a predetermined number of days. The information is compiled and presented to both the patient and the therapist.
In the future, more diaries will be launched in Amnicare – the first will be various types of diaries for diet, physical activity, and anxiety & worry.
We welcome your suggestions for diaries to use in Amnicare, so please do not hesitate to contact us with your needs and requests.
