Intake
Whether a patient comes to the clinic through a phone call, an online health service, or a referral, Amnicare is there to support the healthcare workers. The patient is registered in Amnicare, enabling digital assessments and assisting healthcare workers during consultations.
Triage
Before or during an initial appointment, preferably conducted remotely, Amnicare can be used to triage the patient. While BCFPI has become a standard for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, other tools or combinations of tools can also be utilized. Your organization can create its own standardized triage programs, tailored to factors such as the patient’s age or specific conditions.
Assessment
From the first appointment to the diagnosis, Amnicare provides detailed tools to support the process, ideally through standardized programs that enhance the quality of care. Programs for initial consultations or ADHD evaluations ensure that all patients receive consistent assessments, creating a solid foundation for clinical development and research.
Treatment
With digital journals and messages, Amnicare facilitates ongoing communication between healthcare workers and patients. Automated medication management for remote treatments reduces the administrative burden and the need for in-person visits.
Follow-up
During or after treatment, Amnicare enables comprehensive follow-ups that can span several years at varying intervals. For instance, a radiotherapy clinic for cancer might follow up with patients quarterly for five years post-treatment. An orthopedic department could check in with chronic back pain patients biannually for lifelong management. A child and adolescent psychiatry unit might regularly collect data from ADHD patients over an extended period.
