Amnicare 8.2 - may 2025

In Amnicare 8.2, close relations are introduced as patient contacts and the proxy function becomes more flexible. In addition, various improvements have been made to existing functions and several new instruments have been added to support the research projects conducted in Amnicare.

New functionality 

Close relation as patient contact 

The relation type that is currently called Guardian will now become Close relation. Close relations can also be registered for adult patients if consent has been obtained. We are adding more predefined relationship types, such as Family Home, Grandparent, Partner, Sibling, Child, etc. 

For relatives to continue to be involved when the patient turns 18, consent must be obtained. 

We are also making it possible to choose a proxy per patient contact, which means that you can now choose which relative(s) will act as a proxy for the patient. 

Option to include patients without activities to handle on the start page 

Patients who only have inactivity events or ongoing events such as a journal or treatment will not automatically appear in the patient list under ongoing and in the program inboxes. The lists will initially show patients with activities to handle, (e.g. something to confirm, a prioritized response or a new message). By checking “Show patients without activities to handle”, patients who only have other events will also be included. 

Inactivity has also been added to the filter for activities and the filter has been adjusted to more clearly show what is available to select based on other applied filters. 

Change of patient assignee 

Easier handling of changing patient assignee. The change can be done directly from the patient overview in one step.
