Medicine follow-up with programs

In light of recent reports in the press and media highlighting the consequences of inadequate medication follow-up within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, we at Stretch Care want to draw attention to the fact that Amnicare has provided the ability for digital medication follow-up since 2021.

At Stretch Care, we strive to make the work for healthcare professionals as structured and manageable as possible, which is essential for optimizing patient safety.

By using Amnicare's program function for medication initiation, it is more likely that all patients will be followed up equally regardless of the practitioner. Stretch Care advocates for and is happy to contribute to the national coordination of programs to create a qualitative, patient-safe, and equitable way to treat patients throughout Sweden.

In Amnicare, administrators can build programs for different types of medication treatments to gather data on how the patient feels before starting medication, monitor well-being and symptom development continuously and during any dose adjustments, and easily follow up with the patient after the treatment is completed.

Annika Nilsson, Business Developer at Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Region Skåne, says:

We want to highlight Amnicare's ability for systematic digital follow-up with the 'Program' function. We see that Amnicare supports us throughout the entire resident/patient journey in various ways!

Our ambition is for medication and treatment follow-up to be an area where Amnicare can make a significant difference. We are convinced that this development work is best done together with you in healthcare and across all operational areas – both in somatic and psychiatric care.

To encourage and contribute to the development of digital medication follow-up, we invite all our customers to a free demo of how medication follow-up can be used and works in Amnicare.

Invitations will be sent to superusers and administrators in Amnicare via email, so keep an eye on your inbox.
